Via Ferrata
Via Ferrata can be seen as a mountain hike and climb together. A Via Ferrata route is secured with steel cables that are consolidated in the rocks to which the mountaineer can attach themselves.
In addition to the steel cables, on more difficult and steeper passages, there will be other elements to it, such as stairs and bridges. By using these elements you can reach certain spots that you wouldn’t be able to achieve just by hiking.
Via ferrata's come in different categories. From easy (for children and beginners) to very difficult (for advanced).Reach new heights, one step at a time.
In Tivissa is a 210-meter vertical route rated as medium-high difficulty (K2 to K4), notable for its quick access and panoramic views of the Montsant mountain range. The route ends with a technical overhang option (optional).

High-quality safety equipment: a climbing helmet, harness, and energy-absorbing lanyards.
An initial safety briefing and technical session before we start the climb.
What do I need to bring myself?
2
To enjoy your climb safely and comfortably, please bring:
Sporty clothing that allows for movement.
Sturdy, closed shoes (hiking or sports shoes) with good grip.
Sufficient water and a small snack for energy.

Can children join the Via Ferrata activities?
3
Absolutely! We offer adventures for "young and old". While the easier routes like Barranc de la Foig are great for beginners, we generally recommend a minimum age of 12+ for our more technical camps and routes to ensure they have the physical reach required for the iron steps.
Do I need to be an experienced climber?
4
No prior climbing experience is necessary! Our guides will teach you everything you need to know. However, you should be in good health and relatively sporty to enjoy the physical challenge and the hike to the summit.

— Former guestWe booked Barranc de la Foig trip with Ebroasis. Our kids 12 and 14 loved the day out. Jeroen, the guide, was incredibly patient and made us feel safe every step of the way. The views at the top are just a bonus compared to the fun we had.
